Registration for 2017 is now open!

We are now accepting player & sponsorship registrations for our June 5th golf outing at Blue Bell Country Club. You can register on our website. Fore the Troops is excited to again partner with CB South OEG in 2017. Below is a student written description of what/who we will be contributing to this year. It is incredibly exciting to see young people so engaged in supporting our troops. Their effort is humbling and passion is inspiring.

In a meeting with them in the fall, I issued a challenge to their officers: run Fore the Troops out of money before they run out of boxes to ship. So now I pass this challenge to you: raise more money than OEG can spend. In the end, how many does can we send together? How many pounds of goods can be sent to the brave men and women of our Armed Forces? Regardless of outcome,

Operation Eternal Gratitude is a student run organization at Central Bucks South High School. Our mission each year is to show our appreciation to the United States’ military personnel, mainly by sending repackages to our troops overseas. Whether those items are magazines or snacks or toiletries, we send items over as frequently as we can. Not only do we send items overseas, we hold an annual Veteran's Day Assembly to show our gratitude to those who have served and those who are currently serving. Our most recent project is our Wall of Honor. We are raising funds to redesign a wall of our school to honor students and teachers from CB South that have served the military.

In Spring of 2016, Mr. Lock approached OEG with a proposal to donate proceeds of the Fore the Troops golf outing to assist with our financial burden of shipping cost. With these funds, our club of about 250 students was able to send more items overseas. Last year we were able to send over 3,000 pounds of items overseas, and this year we may possibly be able to send even more thanks to the generous amount that Fore the Troops has donated to us. With this partnership, we are able to increase the monetary amount representing our appreciation to the men and women who have served this country. On behalf of Operation Eternal Gratitude, we thank you and we are very excited to see where this collaboration takes us in the upcoming years.
